Qalibaf hails Iran’s retaliation and warns of readiness for future threats

Iran’s parliament speaker praised the nation’s unity and military response for forcing Israel to halt its aggression.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf praised the Iranian people for leaving their enemies in despair during the recent conflict, affirming that the Islamic Republic is fully prepared to respond to any future aggression.

In a message to the nation on Tuesday, Qalibaf made the remarks following Israel’s unilateral declaration of a ceasefire and halt to its military campaign.

He described the enemy’s greatest defeat as its “utter despair” in the face of Iranian unity and resilience.

Qalibaf stated that the Iranian people had opened a new chapter in modern history, showcasing patriotism, unity, and courage that would be remembered globally.

Earlier that day, Israel ended its 12-day assault after facing 22 waves of retaliatory strikes by Iran’s armed forces.

Iran launched hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones, targeting strategic sites across the occupied territories, including the very bases used to initiate the attacks.

The ceasefire was formally announced by U.S. President Donald Trump, just hours after Iran struck the al-Udeid Airbase in Qatar, a key American military hub in the region.

That strike was a direct response to earlier U.S. attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, which had been coordinated with Israel.

Qalibaf praised the Iranian retaliation for exposing the vulnerabilities of Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system, developed with U.S. support.

He noted that Iranian missiles and drones successfully hit key Israeli military and intelligence centers.

He also highlighted that Iranian forces struck a U.S. military base, delivering what he called an “appropriate blow.”

Qalibaf asserted that Iran’s response choked the enemy until the final moment, without weakening its own military strength.

He emphasized that Iran’s retaliatory actions ended the aggression without compromising its peaceful nuclear program or defensive capabilities.

He concluded by affirming that Iran’s armed forces remain on high alert, ready to respond decisively to any renewed threats.

Qalibaf vowed that Iran would not ease pressure on the “criminal enemy” responsible for killing over 400 Iranians, including women and children.
